Farah Shah has over 35yrs training in Jazz, Funk, Hip hop, Popping, Locking, Contemporary dance and classical ballet. She has choreographed for So You Think You Can Dance Australia., The Australian MTV Awards - choreographing for artists Wyclef Jean and Dizzy Rascal, New Network 10 TV show Recipes to Riches, Dancing with the Stars - India, Uncle Ben commercials, and has worked with choreographers for Missy Elliot, Pink, Madonna and more.....
As a performer Farah has featured in Mask II (Hollywood Movie), as a Lead dancer for Simple Plan @ MTV Awards, Lead dancer for Wyclef Jean and Dizzy Rascal @ MTV Awards, dancer for Chingy @ MTV awards, The Today Show, L&M Cigarette Commercial, Uncle Ben commercial, Bollywood Movies, 8 years of Corporate Shows for companies such as Coca Cola, The Diva Awards, Sydney 2000 Olympics, "Chess" the Musical, Mardis Gras Opening @ State Theatre, Cinema India Exhibition and more....
Farah has trained full-time under the guidance of Margaret Chapple from Bodenweiser Dance Centre as well as Pineapple Dance Studio, Harbour Centre Vancouver and Sydney Dance company Open Classes for 15 years. She has personallly written a Certificate IV in Performing Arts 1 Year Full-time course and has been responsible for training professional dancers, performers and teachers for over 8 years.
As an instructor, she has taught for Mango Dance Studios, Sydney Dance Company, was offered her own class at Pineapple Dance Studio (London), Dance Theatre of Ireland , Bodenweiser Dance Centre.and is often called to teach Masterclasses at various schools.
